2024 Northeast Veterinary Pathology Conference (NEVPC)

Join us in person for this year's exciting Northeast Veterinary Pathology Conference (NEVPC) meeting with a special focus on zoo and wildlife pathology. Registrants will have the opportunity to see a variety of curious cases and to hear our excellent keynote speaker- Dr. Karen Terio, DVM, PhD, DACVP (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign). Participants will be immersed in this fascinating field, whether you're a seasoned, budding biologist, or simply an avid enthusiast of captive and wildlife conservation. Individuals who would like to present a case should contact the course director for details. The deadline for submitting slides is 31 March 2024. Attendees will receive 10 hours of RACE continuing education credit.

2024 Current Literature and Image Interpretation Course (CLIIC) – In person

This course is a systems-based review of veterinary pathology including current literature (past 5 years), relevant textbooks, as well as thousands of gross and microscopic images (histopathology and cytology). Attendees will receive over 600 of boards-style multiple-choice questions, both knowledge (literature and textbook based) and image based. Questions are embedded in the presentations via live polling, but attendees will also receive the questions with references as take-home handouts. This course replaces the previously offered Gross Course and differs from it by the addition microscopic images (histopathology and cytology) and current literature review, to better reflect the current ACVP exam format.

The XV Brazilian Symposium Davis Thompson Foundation, organized by the Davis-Thompson Foundation, Associação Brasileira de Patologia Veterinária, and the Veterinary School at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, is happening soon! Join us for a 3-day immersion in wildlife conservation tools led by Dr. Denise McAloose. The event will feature multiple mock tests for skill practice. Note that lectures will be in English.
