Dr Barros’ presentation on Bovine Slaughterhouse Pathology is a “must see” presentation for pathologists. In his talk, he encapsulated information on a number of lesions, and newbies can garner a wealth of information on lesions making up the background in the forest of lesions seen on the necropsy floor. Any pathologist who has not done time at slaughter could learn from it as well. Some of the material is not seen or lightly handled in texts. Although THE exam is now multiple choice, with his histology images and his discussion, you can formulate a real morphologic diagnoses for a number of conditions, especially with his discussion of parasites. He maintains the passion. Thank you, Dr Barros.
