The Davis-Thompson Foundation invites you to submit your best-quality digital gross, microscopic, or ultrastructural images depicting a gorgeous lesion to our monthly image contest. Each month a new image will take pride of place on the front page of the monthly newsletter and in a blog post. Winning images will be added to Noah’s Arkive to be preserved forever!
Figure requirements
- do not exceed 5 MB, TIFF and JPEG formats accepted (TIFF preferred), we recommend saving TIFF files with LZW compression for best quality
- width 6.8 inches (17.3 cm), minimum resolution 300 pixels/inch (120 pixels/cm) for half-tones (photos, photomicrographs)
- must include a figure legend (attached as a separate Word document) that includes 1) name(s) of contributors and affiliated institutions, 2) brief description of lesion to include patient signalment, 3) diagnosis, and 4) any additional helpful information
