General Pathology Review Course overview

The Davis-Thompson Foundation General Pathology Review Course is an educational program designed to provide a comprehensive review of general pathology topics. It is a great resource for pathologists and residents seeking to solidify their general pathology knowledge and understanding. It aims to support ongoing education and professional development in the field of pathology.

The curriculum is designed to help participants reinforce their understanding of general pathology principles. It covers a wide range of topics within general pathology, including cell biology, tissue injury and repair, inflammation, immunology, hemodynamics, general principles of neoplasia, and more, carefully designed to be comprehensive.

The course is virtual, live and involves a week-long series of lectures, interactive sessions, and case-based discussions led by experienced pathologists and educators with specialty in the various areas of basic and applied aspects of general pathology. To enhance learning, the course includes breakout sessions, mock exams and exercises for students to write mock questions. Attendees return on-line a week after the course to take and discuss the student-generated mock exam and instructor feedback on those questions. These elements allow participants to apply their knowledge in practical scenarios and get immediate feedback.

The General Pathology Review Course is offered once a year, usually early in the year (January or February).  Do not miss this opportunity. We hope to see you there!
