Feline pathology

Please join us on 15 March 2022 from 9:00am to 4:00pm US Central Daylight time for a full-day seminar dedicated to Feline Pathology. Stellar speakers are lined up for this virtual seminar, who will deliver comprehensive educational material about feline lymphoma (WHO classification system, gastrointestinal disease, diagnostic plans, and outcomes); feline urinary disease (renal and lower urinary tract); classic and peculiar diseases; and all you need to know about wild felid pathology. Registration is $50. As usual, registrants will get access to the recorded seminar for 14 days in case you can't watch it in real-time.

Workshop on Pathology and Ruminant Diseases, University of Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences Lahore, Pakistan

Join Drs. Ahmed, Brown and Gaffney for a workshop studying pathogenesis of the major diseases of cattle, focusing on respiratory diseases, hemoparasitic diseases, and clostridial infections.

This interactive workshop will be presented in a case-based manner with group discussions for optimal learning and highlighting how these diseases might appear in wild hoofed stock.

Participants will work through mechanisms of necropsy, doing hands-on practical exercises, to include the entire necropsy procedure as well as sampling and packaging.

2022 Northeastern Veterinary Pathology Conference (NEVPC)

Please join us virtually on March 25 (Friday), 9:00 am - 5:00 pm US EDT and March (Saturday) 26 9:00 am - 11:00 am US EDT for the 2022 NEVPC meeting, with a special focus on neuropathology. Registrants will have the opportunity to see a variety of curious cases (with an emphasis on neuropath) and to hear excellent keynote speakers. Dr. Jey Koehler (Auburn University) will share the state of the art information about canine meningiomas, and Dr. Andrew Miller (Cornell University) will address the classic and the new on equine neuropathology. We all know how busy our days can be! If you always had that specific fun and interesting seminar you wanted to attend but couldn't make it, fear no more. This year of 2022, the Foundation is bringing back to you some of our recorded archived lectures (not publicly available on Youtube), delivered by top-notch speakers from all over the world. This April 1, 2022 (Friday), 11am-12:30pm Central Time, you have the opportunity to watch (again) Dr. Christiane Löhr teaching the foundations of camelid anatomy and pathology, with a unique dynamic approach. Registration is free but required. Certificates will be issued to those who attend.

Invertebrate Pathology Conference

This 7-hour VIRTUAL online conference will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. The conference will feature the keynote lecture “Spineless: Pathology of the 97 Percent” by Dr. Elise LaDouceur, Chief of Extramural Projects and Research at the Joint Pathology Center. Following the keynote lecture, pathologists, residents, and veterinary students will give 15-minute presentations on their most interesting invertebrate pathology cases during an interactive virtual session via Zoom.
If you wish to present a case, please email Elise LaDouceur (Elise.E.LaDouceur.civ@mail.mil) and Sarah Cudd (Sarah.K.Cudd.mil@mail.mil) with a brief description of the case (i.e. species and disease) by 15 March 2022. Those applicants with chosen cases will be notified by email the same week. Selected presenters will be asked to submit a digital or glass slide and prepare a 2-3 page write up by 15 April 2022.
