This all-day, in-person workshop co-sponsored by the Davis-Thompson Foundation will be held on Sunday, 18 September 2022 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time, in association with the annual meeting of the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians in Houston, TX.
This eight-hour workshop brings together zoo veterinarians and pathologists for a full day of discussion of interesting cases and a didactic lecture on a hot topic in zoo and wildlife pathology. This year’s keynote lecture will be “Neurologic disease in wildlife and zoo species” by Molly Church, MS, VMD, PhD, Dipl ACVP, from the University of Pennsylvania. Following the keynote lecture, pathologists from around the world will present their most interesting recent cases throughout an interactive all-day session with an emphasis on diseases of the nervous system in wildlife.
Registration is available on the AAZV Annual Conference Registration Website: https://www.aazv.org/page/2022workshop
The deadline for submission of cases is past, but they can register to attend up until the day of the workshop. It will be in-person.
