Signalment:8-year-old female sugar glider (Petaurus breviceps)

History:Substantial weight loss and a mass in the region of the pouch. Fine needle aspiration and cytologic evaluation of the mass was consistent with suppurative inflammation. The mass subsequently ruptured, forming a large cutaneous ulcer lateral to the pouch.
