Signalment:1.5-year-old, spayed female Miniature Schnauzer

History:2-3 week history of progressive lethargy, lumbar pain, inappetence, fever, and thrombocytopenia. An MRI of the spine revealed syringohydromyelia and presumptive meningitis throughout the entire spinal cord. Marked mixed pleocytosis on CSF.
