Signalment:Adult female striped surfperch (Embiotoca lateralis)
History:In a mixed population tank featuring California coast fish and invertebrates, one striped surfperch was found minimally responsive on its side. Ultrasound of the coelom revealed that the caudal gastrointestinal tract and uterus were fluid-distended.
