Signalment:Wild-caught common octopus
History:This common octopus (Octopus vulgaris) was acquired from the wild when it was fully grown, and housed at a public display aquarium.Ê The animal started senescing approximately one month prior to death and was euthanized.
Gross Lesions:At necropsy, the eyes were cloudy.Ê The siphon and gills were pale pink.
