Signalment:22YO Warmblood stallion

History:This horse presented with a fever of unknown origin of 1 month's duration. CBC showed a mild anemia and leukopenia. Rectal examination revealed firm, 2 cm diameter nodules on the dorsal splenic margin. Over the next week the horse became ataxic.
