Signalment:Thoroughbred equine fetus and placenta

History:The patient delivered in the morning (3 months prior to the due date) was suspicious for mummified twin with nodular placentitis. Mare was treated for placentitis 9 days prior to the delivery with Gentamicin and Equisul. Euthanized.
