Signalment:Adult, male, North American river otter (Lontra canadensis)
History:On presentation, the otter was emaciated, dehydrated, lethargic, agitated, had diarrhea and signs of muscle atrophy. Over the following days, the otter vigorously ingested all food offered by the facility but continued to have diarrhea. Found dead.
