Signalment:4-month-old female rhesus macaque
History:Acute, severe, hemorrhagic colitis. The cause of death was severe necrotizing hemorrhagic and ulcerative enterocolitis of unknown etiology. At necropsy, an ulcer was noted on the dorsal surface of the tongue.
